End o’ the World was delicious

I cracked open my End o’ the World chocolate Russian Imperial Stout a little while ago and let me say: It was totally awesome. It didn’t have a huge chocolate flavor on the front end, more of a coffee woody stout flavor, but the back end/aftertaste was just  a choco-splosion. Totally going to make that brew again!

My next brew is going to be a mead, in the 15 gallon range. After that I’m open. I don’t know who reads this, but if you have any suggestions, let me know!

This thing will happen

Right now I don’t have a brewery. Or a business, or anything like that. I have a website and a load of homebrew shit. I have some ideas. I made what I feel is a kickass chocolate Russian Imperial Stout and a kickass logo and label. I don’t even know how much of it I’m going to get to drink, though, since I’m giving it out as gifts.

But I know this has to happen. It’s something I’ve wanted so much to do, and it’s something I can do. I have not only the desire, and the will, but the support from family…my  wife, my brother, my daughter, my mom, and more…to make this work. I even have a location, though not the licenses.

So it’s going to happen. This thing will happen, and some years from now when I look back at this moment, on this blog, I’m going to remember saying it. And it’ll be so damn good.
